Look for Math in Everyday Activities
It’s not a hard task, once you start, at finding math in everyday, real world activities. At GWCA we believe it’s a super motivator for our scholars. Exercise this by making a little more time when doing everyday activities such as cooking, cleaning, making purchases and watching TV to get scholars to practice skills such as measuring, counting, sorting and asking them questions to help develop number sense. This helps with math learning without them even realizing!
